Schirmacher Design Associates was founded in 1990 and offers a full, turn-key, Interior, Architectural and Landscape Design service, including Project Documentation, Management and Procurement.


We also design, manufacture and hand-finish a custom-made range of wrought iron lighting and furniture, for clients and other designers. We have won numerous awards for our work, creating our own hallmarks and setting trends, both locally and abroad. It is our aim to produce designs of high quality, and it is our firm belief that the success of a scheme is established through a combination of the design process and the designer’s ability to interpret the brief and communicate with the clients, contractors and other suppliers.


A successful interior is a reflection of the client and people who inhabit it. It must be true to their likes and dislikes and a reflection of their taste and above all it must be comfortable to live in.


We blend into our interiors a mélange of classical and contemporary elements, creating a timeless appeal - a balance of colours, textures & architecture, with contrasts and focal points. Projects undertaken range from commercial, leisure & retail schemes to domestic turn-key fit-outs.
